Getting Started

Q: What do I need to get started? An email address and a Claude API key. Sign up, connect your key, and launch — takes under 5 minutes.

Q: Do I need a credit card for the free trial? No. The 14-day trial is completely free with no payment required.

Q: What Claude API key do I need? Either a standard Claude API key (sk-ant-api01-...) from console.anthropic.com (opens in a new tab) or a Claude Max subscription token (sk-ant-oat01-...).

Drones

Q: Can I run multiple drones? Yes. Each drone is a separate subscription running on its own dedicated infrastructure.

Q: How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude? Opius Drone runs autonomously 24/7 on dedicated infrastructure. It connects to your real tools (Gmail, CRM, LinkedIn) and executes tasks on a schedule — without you being present.

Q: What happens if the drone crashes? The daemon auto-restarts via systemd. Transient failures are retried automatically. If something requires your attention, you'll get a notification.

Q: How does the drone learn over time? After every run, the drone records what worked and what didn't. It builds a memory of effective strategies and applies them to future runs.

Integrations

Q: What integrations are supported? 16 providers: Gmail, HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Slack, Calendar, Notion, ZeroBounce, Apollo, Instantly, Hunter, Outreach, Clearbit, Apify, Pipedrive, and Gong.

Q: How does browser login work (LinkedIn, Gmail)? A live browser viewport opens in your dashboard. You log in as you normally would — handling 2FA, CAPTCHA, and security prompts yourself. The drone maintains the session.

Q: Are integration costs included? Free integrations (Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, etc.) have no additional cost. Paid integrations (Apollo, Clearbit, etc.) charge per-use from your provider account.

Conversation Mode

Q: Can I talk to my drone on WhatsApp? Yes. Connect your WhatsApp Business API credentials in Settings → Channels.

Q: What can I tell my drone? Work commands ("Find 20 leads"), questions ("How many emails today?"), and rules ("Never contact Acme"). See Conversation Mode.

Q: Can I set rules via chat? Yes. Rules like "never contact Acme Corp" or "limit emails to 30/day" are applied instantly and persist across all future runs.

Billing

Q: What happens after the free trial? Your drone pauses. Add a payment method to resume — no data is lost.

Q: Can I cancel anytime? Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing. Your drone stops at the end of the billing period, or use Stop & Terminate for immediate removal.

Q: How much does Claude API usage cost? Typically $20-50/mo depending on your drone's workload. With a Claude Max subscription ($100/mo), usage is unlimited.

Security

Q: Is my data secure? Yes. Each drone runs on a dedicated cloud instance. Credentials are encrypted at rest. No data is shared between customers.

Q: Does Opius Drone have a public API? The platform API is used internally by the dashboard. A public API for programmatic access is on our roadmap.

Q: What Claude model does the drone use? Claude Opus 4.6 — the most capable model available — handles all reasoning and planning.
